I am a young community development worker I was diagnosed with HIV in 2010 when I went to register for prenatal care of my first born. It was very hard for me at first but I came over it.
I took medications for that 9 months so that I wouldn’t affect my unborn baby .

After birth I gave my son Nevirapine until I stopped breastfeeding. I never took any medication after birth, I continued my life without pills until the present. And I don’t regret it, my son is healthy and I am watching what I eat. My cd4 count is 375 am happy because it has now been 6 years without pills.
